About Me

Taming the wilderness of my imagination one story at a time….

That truly sums up my life. I’ve always had an active imagination and required a release for my creativity. However, it wasn’t until 2009 that I realized I could write a great story.

I can honestly say that I didn’t once think about writing prior to sitting down in May 2009. It never crossed my mind because I hadn’t even picked up a book to read in over 20 years. Crazy, right? It’s not that I didn’t want to read, I didn’t have time while running my own accounting business, volunteering at schools and church, and raising a family.

It also never crossed my mind because I’m dyslexic. Let’s just say the English language, and I have challenges. The hubby tells me I have my own language; it can be frustrating and yet funny at times with the words I can create.

While I struggle at times with the written word, my imagination is boundless. I create stories in my head all the time and find inspiration from odd places at times. It works for me, and I don’t see it coming to an end anytime soon.

Outside of writing, I love hiking, camping, watching my boys fish, and taking long walks with my yellow labs, Taylor and Mandi. Sometimes, I enjoy cooking when the mood hits. Not only have I published novels, but I’m the master of redesigning just about anything. Idaho has been my home for 36 years now, and I can’t wait to spend another 36 years here, too.
