And here’s Andre

Yup, Andre up to no good!

I know I’ve been promising you an introduction to Andre, and well I’ve finally gotten around to writing the post. Part of the delay was me thinking about how to introduce her…to only post good pictures and paint her in a good light. Uh yeah…

You see, Andre and I go back a long ways…about 18 years if my memory serves me right. I was there for the birth of her kids and she was there for the birth of my youngest.

We’ve had many a dinners together when they lived in town and I even remember a fun camping trip before they had kids.

Oh, she’s probably going to kill me
for this pic, we were out on a hike.

Andre is my special friend, she accepts me no matter what…even when I’ve made the comment that “fat tans better”, which is a long story involving beer being snorted through my husband’s nose. I know it sounds bad, but my meaning was completely different than their interpretation. I swear!

We call each other with our stupid blonde moments and laugh! Sometimes harder than others, believe me, we’ve both had our share of moments. She’s the type of friend that doesn’t even notice that I’ve been ignoring her (because I’ve been writing and I sorta get in the zone), and when I apologize, she’s like “Oh? I didn’t even notice.”

She’s also the type of friend that I can’t, nor would I, ever get rid of. She keeps it real, she keeps me grounded and we keep each other sane with laughter and tears…okay, Andre doesn’t cry–ever–she’s broken that way, but me…I’m emotional when I write, when I see things on TV when…yeah, you get the point.

So the Andre you love in Daylight, book 3, well, she’s the real deal and she’s my friend. How lucky am I? A friend who’ll call you stupid to your face and love you just the same.

Yup, up to no good…
